Minigames are back!

That’s right, after a long two weeks, the Minigames server is back with some new fun to get stuck into, and we can’t wait for you all to check it out!

The new and improved PVP area has been extended back and has two wings – Duels to the left, and Hunger Games to the right.

Duels

Brand new to LibraryCraft, Duels introduces 1 on 1 action with limited kits. There’s four different kits, each with their own arena – Sword, Axe, Mace and Crystal. Crystal is still getting set up, but the others are good to go! The arenas are very bare bones – just you and your opponent!

Click the sign to join the queue you want. Each kit has its own queue.

It’s crucial that you do not start a different minigame while you are in a queue. If you join a queue, wait at the signs. If you want to do something else, click the queue sign again to leave the queue, or you will be dragged into a duel that will not work, and you will be stuck.

If you disconnect from the server while in a duel, you will log a loss and the match will end, so it’s best to finish the duel off! As always, please only disconnect from the Minigames Lobby.

You’re also able to customise the layout of each kit, just for you! We’re looking at bringing the Crystal gamemode soon, plus 2v2 arenas for each kit as well. They’ll come in the next few weeks or so.

Hunger Games

Hunger Games was one of our original minigames back in the day, and now it’s returned! Each of the maps can have up to 8 players, and they’re familiar maps! TowersPVP and CliffGames are now in HG mode as they were back in the early days.

Head through the gate of the world you want and right click the sign in the lobby area to join the match. At the start of the match you’ll be frozen in place, but as soon as the countdown is done, you need to go hunting around the map for chests! They’re located all around the map. It’s first in, best dressed! Gear up, take out your opponents and be the last man standing to win.

Parkour

Lastly, the parkour course has had a complete redesign!

Thanks to our resident parkour design master/chief parkour tormentor Meowlicky, we have a brand new Parkour course that wraps around the Minigames Lobby. There’s also a new way to get to it! Jump over to the starting platform and stand on the first pressure plate to get the timer started!
