It’s almost March! We’re flying through each month so it’s time for a new competition theme. The third theme for 2026 is a suggestion from _Heebyy. In March, we want to see you all build to the theme of History. Choose a moment in history that you think will translate well to being built in Minecraft and just do your best!

Remember, each month counts in terms of points, so do your best, and make sure you finish your build! Votes tend to go towards builds that are completed.

JohnsanGeezo will be away this weekend, so the February map will still be available until Monday afternoon.

The March Competition world gate – located in the Creative Lobby – will replace the February gate at 5pm on Monday March 2nd.

We’re a bit over a month into 2026, so it’s time to announce the first results for a 2026 Monthly Competition! We had you guys building Aussie Landmarks this month, and we had some really great entries!

Let’s take a look at the results!

1st Place: legocraftmlb

Formerly known as SUNNYBOY2013, legocraftmlb has gone with all the detail in the Sydney Harbour Bridge, even going microscale and adding some of the surrounding harbour buildings, Opera House, and traffic on the bridge itself! This was brilliant to explore. A massive well done!

2nd Place: RoseBlossom_

Rose went with the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia! Not just the lighthouse, but some very nicely manicured gardens around it. Well done Rose!

3rd Place: MarshyMS

Relatively new to LibraryCraft, Marshy went with a Perth icon, the Belltower! This one has a difficult shape, but it’s been really well represented, and even has some working bells inside! Well done Marshy!

We’ve got a lot of coastline in Western Australia, with plenty of diversity, so we’re looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Just like that another season done! We’re well into the January school holidays and 2026 has just begun, so let’s find out who won in December, and who took out the whole of season 2, 2025! We went with a December staple of Christmas, and got some very festive builds!

1st Place: legofanatic212

Getting his first win, legofanatic has gone with a classic Christmas winter theme, complete with candy cane lined path, a giant snowman and a Christmas party in the house! There’s even lyrics to a modified Frosty the Snowman in the snowman’s body. Nice work lego!

2nd Place: WoodyToucan

Woody went with an assortment of Christmas builds – Santa with his sleigh outside a workshop, candy canes, snowmen, presents under a tree and even a very clever Christmas pudding!

3rd Place: Parkour_ninja77

Entering his first competition, Parkour has gone for a classic – presents under a rather nice Christmas tree. Well done Parkour, and welcome to the competitions!

With Christmas just around the corner, it’s time to talk about the first competition theme for 2026! New year, new season of competition! A few weeks ago we asked you for some suggestions for themes you wanted to see, so our first theme is one from yanman! During January, we’re asking you to build an Australian Landmark. It can be something iconic, or something a little more left of field.

Even if it’s obvious, please put a sign with the landmark and the state it’s in on the corner of your build.

Remember, each month counts in terms of points, so do your best, and make sure you finish your build! Votes tend to go towards builds that are completed.

We’re putting the Builder competition on a bit of a hiatus at the moment, but we’ll look at bringing it back later in the year – at the moment all of our builders are either creating their bases or other things for the server during 2026!

The January Competition world gate – located in the Creative Lobby – will replace the December gate. John is away camping until the afternoon of January 1st, so you’ll have a little extra time to finish your December builds. That also means the January competition won’t open until later in the day on January 1st.

We’re all slowly gearing up for Christmas but we’re not quite ready for that yet – we need to post the results of the November competition! We asked you all to build us your dream home, and we got some really detailed and well thought out entries! We didn’t get any builder entries again as everyone has been getting stuck into the new Survival map, so we’ve decided to put a hold on the Builder Competition for the next season. We’ll look at bringing it back later in 2026.

Heebyy has scored his third win with this beautiful house on a custom beachside cliff! The trees appear to be little homes around a very cute lake. That also means that Heebyy is now officially joining the Builder rank! You can read more about the role at our post from about a year ago. Welcome to the Builder team Heebyy! 2nd Place: SUNNYBOY2013

Sunnyboy went coastal as well, with a very unique looking house on a rock. There’s also a cave underneath the detailed interior!

Legofanatic went with an interesting fort looking house with a large tree in the middle. This one looked great! Very spacious.

It’s almost Christmas! Can you believe it? This year has absolutely flown by! By now we’re a week or so into 1.21.5 and the New Survival world, and people are very excited! Don’t forget the Creative competitions though! Obviously this time we’re asking you to build to a generic Christmas theme. Time to get festive!

Remember, each month counts in terms of points, plus there’s the Builder Rank Competition too – the GOLD bordered plots are for Builders only – do not claim these if you are not a builder. If you do, we will clear them without warning, regardless of whether there’s builds on it or not.

September and October had a competition run over two months while John was on holidays. We asked you all to build something around a Magical Forest theme, and we had some great entries! We didn’t get any builder entries again as they’ve been busy making some final additions to our next Survival spawn area for the new Survival map. More on that soon!

Pompadoo came into the competition scene after about a year on the server with a bit more of a paired back entry, but still one that was beautifully detailed. The end rods on the tree was a very nice touch.
