We’re a month into the second season for 2026, so it’s time for a fresh start with competition! We kicked off the season with the theme of Alien and we got a lot of awesome builds to check out! With a few of these builds making use of the entire build area it was a struggle to get the images in one frame, so apologies if the best angle isn’t there!

Also, good news – the Builder competition is back! We’ll get to the builder competition after the main competition’s honourable mentions.

Let’s take a look at the results for the main Emerald Points Competition first.

1st Place: Bennmc2012

Locking in second win in a row, Bennmc2012 designed some very interesting alien biomes with a spaceship hovering close by. These were really well done and a pleasure to walk through! The distinct colour blocks look great. Well done Benn!

2nd Place: Lellmon

Lellmon’s build was fantastic and very well detailed, featuring a massive sand worm coming out of the ground to eat a spaceship. This was really well done!

3rd Place: EnderKitty543

EnderKitty went with the classic alien trope – a UFO beaming up a cow in a field! I LOVED the scale difference with this one. It was great, and the cow inside is brilliant!

Builder Creative Competition Results

We’re very excited to bring the Builder competition back! To find out more about the Builder competition, read the post! It’ll also cover the rest of the Builder role.

1st Place: CopperJay

Copper came back strong with a very unique looking alien landscape, complete with a stunning looking crevasse down below. Nice work Copper!

2nd Place: _Herbss

Herbs went with a brick built version of Ben Quadinaros, the podracer pilot from Star Wars Episode 1. Nicely done!

Not just another competition round done, but a whole season! This was another great but hard one to judge. We got some excellent and well thought out mob shrines. We once again had a few battles for the podium positions. So without any further ado, it’s time to announce the results for the June Monthly Competition, and the results of the whole of Season 1, 2026!

1st Place: Bennmc2012

Pretty new to LC, Bennmc2012 has scored his first win with an Aztec/Mayan temple inspired shrine to the axolotl! Underneath the large platform is a very picturesque lush cave environment, perfect for the cutest mob in the game. Well done Benn!

2nd Place: legofanatic212

Legofanatic212 went with the ever popular enderdragon, complete with some very nice stylized towers. We’re not entirely sure if this was finished or not, but it’s still pretty cool!

3rd Place: HatCatWolf1

HatCat returned to the server after a bit of a break to also build a shrine to the Enderdragon, this time encased in a rather fancy looking pyramid! This was a great looking build all around. Well done HatCat!

Lellmon has scored his first ever win with a nicely detailed riverside build, full of a nice variety of dinosaurs. We particularly like the big t-rex style one turning his head! Well done Lell!

2nd Place: ALTabascoRex

Rex also went with a whole heap of dinosaurs near some water, but with some differences! The mosasaur was a very nice inclusion – John’s favourite dinosaur!

3rd Place: EnderKitty543

Rather than living dinosaurs, EnderKitty went the other way and opted for a fossil using end stone bricks. This was a very neat build! Great work Ender!

We’re almost in the last month of Season 1! June marks the end of the first season of the Creative Competition, so it comes down to this! In June we’re doing a theme we’ve never attempted before. Given everyone’s builds in the season thus far, we have high hopes! The theme is Mob Shrine. Choose a mob, and built it a shrine! Make it look fancy!

Another competition complete, and it was a popular one! Medieval didn’t quite work last time we tried it, thanks to a server problem, but it’s been a tough one to judge, given the range of builds we got. So without any further ado, it’s time to announce the results for the April Monthly Competition!

1st Place: legocraftmlb

Legocraftmlb has scored his third win with this massive castle on a cliff, under the attack from a dragon. This build was so big, it didn’t fit in one picture!

This win also means lego is now officially joining the ranks of the Builder team! You can read more about the role at our post from about a year ago. Welcome to the Builder team lego! We’ll be in touch more in game.

2nd Place: TapuFini888

Fini went with something slightly different, but very cool nonetheless – a massive battleaxe against a cliffside tower. Building the battleaxe not at one off angle but two would have been a solid challenge!

3rd Place: Lellmon

Rounding out the top three was Lellmon, with a medieval classic – an enderdragon attacking a village. Another very cool build to explore! Well done Lell.

It’s the last week of April, so it’s time to announce the next theme for the Creative Competition! Medieval seems to have been a popular one, and we’ve got something for May we’ve not done before, so we’re excited to see what happens. In May we’re going way back in time with Prehistoric. Dinosaurs, epic terrain, huge forests, the lot! This will be a fun one.
