We’re in the middle of getting a big activity set up for people to get stuck into in 121Survival, but while we’re working on it, we thought we’d get you warmed up a little!
Wonder what we’re giving away? It’s a shulker box filled with loot! There’s a catch though.
While the loot is decent, there’s only 5 shulker boxes to give away. The winners will be chosen at random at 9pm on Monday 21st July.
What do I do?
At 121Spawn there are three greenhouses. In each of those greenhouses is a sign with a keyword. Make sure you write them down! You’ll need them later. Get all three and they will direct you to a final location, where you will need to read the instructions on the wall and press a button. Only press the button ONCE! It will give you a named piece of paper, unique to you.
Do not give it to other players, or you will both forfeit your entries. This giveaway is easy enough for everyone to do solo!
Send a /mail to JohnsanGeezo with the unique word on the paper, plus the three keywords. That’s it!
Over the last couple of days we’ve refreshed the LC Modded server with a brand new modpack, All The Mods 9: To The Sky! It’s already seen a massive amount of play, so it should be a popular one, especially as we’re launching in to the school holidays this weekend!
The big difference this time around is that the world is a skyblock world, so every player has their own island, 4,000 blocks away from each other! ATM9TTS is a modpack that has a massive amount of mods to explore – enough for every type of modded player. There’s technology, magic, farming, building, boss battles, grinding and a whole lot more.
Some of the bigger mods included are Create 6, Powah, ForceCraft, AE2, Botania, Thermal Series, Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, Croptopia, Ars Nouveau, Pipez, Sophisticated Backpacks & Storage, Dank Storage, Chipped, Waystones, Mystical Agriculture, Easy Villagers, Modular Routers and a lot more.
It sounds like a lot to figure out, but there’s a massive quest system that goes into every one of the mods, so it’s also good for the new players.
We’ve also got Simple Voice Chat installed, so you can add that to your modpack manually too, or just use the LibraryCraft Discord voice channels.
There’s some important entry requirements which can be found at the LCModded page, but it’s going to be a lot of fun!
The end of June means the end of the first season of Emerald Points Competition for 2025, with July being the start of Season 2! For the start of a new season we’re going with Transport. It’s not all that straight forward so we want to see some out of the box (or block?) thinking with this one. There’s been lots of different transport themed builds in LC over the years, so there’s some options to go with!
Extra Builder Rank Requirement
One of the requests this year from the Builder team is to give them a bit more of a challenge, so each month we’ll also be adding in an extra requirement, just for the Builder rank players! Regular competition players do not need to do this.
Include three different types of transport in your build.
Remember, each month counts in terms of points, plus there’s the Builder Rank Competition too – the GOLD bordered plots are for Builders only – do not claim these if you are not a builder. If you do, we will clear them without warning, regardless of whether there’s builds on it or not.
The July Competition world gate – located in the Creative Lobby – will replace the June gate which will close to building at 9pm on Monday June 30th.
The gate will open in the Creative Lobby on the morning of July 1st, so get thinking about your build!

At the end of the season (June and December), the grand prizes are awarded to the final top three Emerald Points winners from across the 6 months of competition. This season we’re giving away:
1st Prize: $250 worth of LEGO! It’ll be in the form of a LEGO store voucher, sent online. Nice and easy!
2nd Prize: $100 JB HiFi Voucher
3rd Prize: $50 JB HiFi Voucher
The parallel Builders Creative Competition will be judged at the same time, with the overall winner each season getting a $50 JB HiFi voucher.
We’ve had an extremely quiet May Creative Competition this year, with everyone seemingly focused on the big End of Financial Year Creative Competition, or Survival play. The builds in the EOFY competition are looking incredible!
We only had one player complete a build in the May Steampunk competition, but they were banned just over a week ago for x-raying in the server, so unfortunately we don’t have any completed builds this time around! We did however have a couple of entries for the Builder Competition, so we’ll go straight to them.
Builder Creative Competition Results

1st Place: Meowlicky
This time around, Meow went with a steampunk factory build. There’s also a decent amount of redstone inside, allowing for an illusion that the cogs on the side of the building are turning. Very clever!
2nd Place: Smaug12345
Smaug went with the beginnings of a very steampunk styled tower – it could potentially be used for a lighthouse or a statue, but also looks a little like the start of a large decorated piston.

Term 2 has flown by, with it being halfway done at the time of writing, so it’s time to announce the mid-year school holiday social session!
We’ve had questions about it already, so here’s everything you need to know.

It’s term 2! The April school holidays have come and gone, we’re all still probably recovering from a chocolate overload, so let’s go through the competition results! This month we had a few less entries overall, and unfortunately many of them didn’t stick to the theme of Underwater City or weren’t finished, so there were even less, resulting in incomplete podiums for both competitions. It’s very important that all players read the theme and understand the rules of the competition. It’s even more important to try to get your build finished!
As always, we’ll get to the builder competition after the main competition’s honourable mentions.
Let’s take a look at the results for the main Emerald Points Competition first.
1st Place: Imaginemode
Easily the standout this round was from our longest currently whitelisted player, Imaginemode! Having been with us since the very beginning in late 2019, Imagine has created a very cleverly build and storied underwater city based around a build from LibraryCraft worlds of long ago called Dodoville! A brilliant build to explore, Imagine! Well done!
2nd Place: FantasticFun
Fan went with a very prismatic build, complete with giant octopus terrorising a house! This one would have been great to see a little more completed, but it was still a very aesthetic build. Nice one Fan!

Builder Creative Competition Results
We had a just the one entry for this month’s Builder competition, being saved by a pretty fleshed out story. To find out more about the Builder competition, read the post! It’ll also cover the rest of the Builder role.
1st Place: Meowlicky
Meow went with an underwater ruined throne tower from a buried city that was wiped away after a dam broke. It was interesting seeing the build detail underground too. Nice idea Meow – it’d be great to see this one completed one day in Survival!

Sorry folks, the server is currently being worked on in the background, so won’t be available to play on for the next little while. We’re working on it and will update this post when we know more!
For May we’re doing a theme we’ve not done before, but have high hopes for – Steampunk! With all the copper in the game, it should be a lot of fun to see what is built. For those of you that aren’t sure of what steampunk is, it combines a bit of a historical setting with steam powered machinery instead of modern technology. Think copper, gears, steam engines etc.

We’ve got some more funds in the budget before the end of the financial year as we couldn’t make it to Pixel Expo, so we thought we’d pass it on to our players in the form of a big End of Financial Year Creative Competition!
It’s going to be a bit special – here’s what you need to know.
There is no set theme! Build your best whatever!
The plots are bigger – 100×100 in fact!
The prizes are also bigger! JB Hifi Vouchers for the top three:
1st Place: $125
2nd Place: $75
3rd Place: $50
There’s more time to build! The competition opens Monday morning April 14th and will be open until 9pm Monday June 30th. That’s over 2 months to build!
A new gate will be opened up at the Creative Competitions area in the Creative Lobby.
There’s also some important extra information:
Only completed builds will be judged – it’s worth finishing them and you have plenty of time! In order to be deemed completed, you’ll need to do THREE things:
Finish your build!
Submit your entry by sending a /mail to JohnsanGeezo in Survival. It won’t work on Creative – you MUST be in 121Survival! Use /mail send JohnsanGeezo [message]. If you have Discord, you can open a ticket. Remember – these should be submitted AFTER you have completed your build, not before!
There must be a lectern on the corner of your build plot with a book containing the description of your build. The description doesn’t have to be massive, but it needs to describe what you intended to build.
Each completed build will be awarded two points in the main Emerald Points Creative Competition. Those two points may be all the difference to get you onto the podium!
What about the Builder Role players?
We’ve not forgotten about you! Our four current Builders – Meowlicky, CopperJay, Smaug12345 and JtripleM are eligible to build in it as well, but with a few differences:
Instead of building on a plot 100×100 plot, each builder will get a length of the border of the world, around 500 or 600×100 blocks in size. You can see them in the image above.
Don’t panic yet! We’re not asking you to build five plots! We’d like you to build something but it needs to be tileable. It can be up to 100 blocks wide (or less if you really want), but it needs to be able to seamlessly tile along your stretch of border. When your build is complete (let us know in the Builder’s Discord channel), we will then copy your entire build and tile it edge to edge along your stretch of border!
Completed Builder rank builds will be judged separately, with the winner getting a different prize.
